Sorry Professor...this can be one of the most dreaded of things...the crowder-outer of more precious perennials.
Did I ever tell you about the time I pulled out this invasive vine all summer in an effort to cultivate some Morning Glory...only to discover that the Morning Glory wouldn't grow...because it was the vine I was frantically yanking out? --- Live and learn. It doesn't all look like it does in the books.
